About NicNac Productions

Jacqui founded her production company NicNac Productions, which is a female-founded and run production company. She started this company in an effort to flip the script on female narratives.

Shaped by a deep love of cinema, she quickly saw the gap—male dominated stories and roles she longed to play written for men. Now, she’s driven to create the kind of film she once craved: female-led, thrilling, and rich with complexity.

The film was selected for and had its premiere at the acclaimed St. Kilda Film Festival. Most recently, Jacqui produced and starred in the critically acclaimed theatre production of Danny and the Deep Blue Sea at Sydney's The Old Fitz Theatre, where it received rave reviews.

With a background in sport, Jacqui is passionate about addressing the lack of films centred on female athletes. Her next focus is on developing character-driven biopics that explore the lives of iconic sportswomen, examining the emotional, physical, and psychological realities of competing at the highest level through a distinctly female lens.

Past Experience

Jacqui has built an extensive career across television and film, appearing in acclaimed productions ranging from iconic Australian series to independent feature films like the AACTA nominated, A Lion Returns.

Theatre

In 2026, Jacqui produced and starred in the critically acclaimed production of Danny and the Deep Blue Sea by Academy Award, Pulitzer Prize, and Tony Award-winning playwright John Patrick Shanley at Sydney's The Old Fitz Theatre, where it received rave reviews.

“Theatre at it’s absolute best should leave the audience changed in some way. This play left a mark on me and gave me an insight into a world that is foreign to me. I left the theatre actually having more empathy for people that live a different life to myself, and I think that is a true testament to everyone involved in this production. I don’t think you can ask much more of a theatre experience.”
